The buzz is out! Something new is coming to digital cameras that use SD cards. It’s called Eye-Film from Eye-Fi.

Eye-Film is still in the development stages, but is due to be released before the end of this year – and is something to get excited about.

Eye-Film is an adapter that fits into a standard SD card slot and has 1GB of storage built in. The concept of this device is to make any Digital Camera into a Wi-Fi device.

There will be no upgrade required for the camera and it will work with 802.11g Wi-Fi which is backward compatible with 802.11b.

Eye-Film, which is supposed to retail for $100.00, can even automatically upload images to your computer or an online photo sharing service.
